The registration window will open on August 1, 2025, at 10 AM on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, and will continue until September 13, 2025. Documents to keep ready for CAT 2025 registration
Ensure you have scanned copies of the following:
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets
- Graduation certificate or marksheet
- Final-year certificate (if applicable)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), if applicable
- Passport-size photograph (white background, ≤80 KB)
- Scanned signature (≤80 KB)
- Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, etc.)
- Work experience certificates (if claiming experience)
How to apply for CAT 2025 online
Aspirants will be able to register online for CAT August 1, 2025 onwards. Here is how:
- Visit iimcat.ac.in
- Register as a new user with name, email ID, mobile number, DOB
- Verify via OTP and receive login credentials
- Fill the application form: personal, academic, and work details
- Select preferred IIM programs and 6 test cities
- Upload documents and pay the fee
- Submit and download confirmation page
What happens next?
Once registered, candidates can download the admit card from November 5, 2025. The exam will be held in three slots across various cities. A short correction window is expected after the registration closes to allow minor edits.
