Pakistan Cricket Board remained firm in its stance on not agreeing to a hybrid model for the Champions Trophy when the International Cricket Council Board met virtually on Friday. The meeting will continue on Saturday as the ICC top brass hopes to finalise the schedule and venues for the marquee 50-over tournament, scheduled for early 2025.
The ICC Board met on Friday to discuss potential scenarios after India refused to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, leading to an impasse.
