A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region on Saturday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The quake occurred at a depth of 123 kilometers. EMSC had initially reported it as a magnitude 5.5.
