The Indian women’s team are in their final stretch of preparations for the highly anticipated ODI World Cup and are set to take on England in a five-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series as well that follows.
The series is set to begin on June 28 and will run till July 22, later next month. Shafali Verma, Sneh Rana and Radha Yadav are amongst the notable names that have been recalled to the side. Harmanpreet Kaur, as expected, will once again lead the side for the upcoming T20I and ODI games.
England will be led by their star all-rounder, Nat Sciver Brunt. The side also received a massive boost with the return of their ace spinner, Sophie Ecclestone, who had taken a break. In addition, the side is coming off a massive win, a 3-0 T20I and ODI series win against West Indies.
