Iskcon India has reported that Bangladeshi lawyer Ramen Roy, who was defending the arrested Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, was “brutally attacked at his home by Islamists.” The lawyer is now in the Intensive Care Unit, battling for his life. This incident follows a wave of violence in Bangladesh triggered by the monk’s arrest on sedition charges.
