KANPUR: An FIR has been lodged against four people for allegedly assaulting the Naraini SDM in Uttar Pradesh‘s Banda district after he confronted them for mining sand illegally and seized two loaded trucks on Sunday night.After social media claimed that BJP MLA from Banda Sadar, Prakash Dwivedi, too assaulted the SDM, Amit Shukla, for refusing to release the confiscated trucks, the legislator refuted the allegations but admitted having “reprimanded” the officer.Banda SP Palash Bansal said a case has been registered against four named and 25-30 unidentified people for obstructing govt work, assault, and intimidation.
