The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued the date sheet for Class 10 and Class 12 practical examinations for the September–October 2025 session. As per the official announcement, the NIOS practical exams 2025 will take place between September 12 and September 27, 2025, at designated examination centres. The admit cards (hall tickets) for the practical exams will be available for download on the official website, nios.ac.in, prior to the commencement of the tests.The institute has directed exam centre superintendents to download attendance sheets for practical examinations from the centre dashboard. Marks obtained by students will be uploaded on or before October 10, 2025.Regional centres have also been instructed to collect the exam schedule well in advance and assign observers to ensure smooth conduct and close monitoring of the Class 10 and Class 12 practical exams. Furthermore, NIOS has asked all regional directors to upload the exam date sheet on their respective regional websites, circulate it among practical exam centres, and issue press releases in local newspapers.

Along with the date sheet, the institute has released specific instructions for students and centres:
- Students can download their intimation-cum-hall ticket from the NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in
- All practical exams will be organised at study centres unless cancelled, non-functional, or where fewer learners are registered, as notified by the regional centre.
- Since the exams will be conducted in small batches, students should contact their centre superintendent or study centre coordinator well in advance to confirm their batch and exam dates.
- Learners will be divided into batches depending on the laboratory’s capacity and in consultation with examiners by the superintendent/coordinator.
- The result of the practical examination will be declared around seven weeks after the last date of the theory exams. Results will be published on the official NIOS portal, sdmis.nios.ac.in, once declared. No individual queries regarding the exact date of result declaration will be entertained.
