T20 World Cup-winning skipper Rohit Sharma was named captain of the International Cricket Council T20I mens’ Team of the Year for 2024. Rohit leads a team that also has three more Indians – Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh. Pakistan star Babar Azam is also part of the team, announced by the global body on Saturday, January 25.

Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retired from T20 internationals after helping India lift the world title in Barbados last year.
